1. What kind of food do you serve at Northern Cafe? At Northern Cafe, we serve Asian and Western comfort food, burgers to All-Day Breakfasts, Homemade Wontons and Gyozas. Whether you’re craving Fluffy Pancakes—the kind of breakfast that warms your morning—or looking to try our signature Homemade AAA Beef Sirloin Burgers, we have something for everyone. Our menu is designed to give you traditional flavours with modern twists using the best ingredients so you get a new experience every time you come.

2. Where is Northern Cafe located, and is there parking?
You’ll find us at 1640 E. Kent Avenue South, Vancouver, BC. Parking is available along Kent Avenue for our guests. Although we’re tucked above a lumber yard, we’re a popular spot with both locals and visitors2.

3. What payment methods do you accept? We accept credit cards, debit cards and cash.

4. Do you have vegan and vegetarian options? Yes, Northern Cafe has vegan and vegetarian options. From our Vegetarian Spring Rolls to our Veggie Clubhouse Sandwich, we make sure our menu caters to all dietary needs and restrictions. Enjoy fresh, tasty plant-based food made with love. Please inform your server and we will try to accommodate you.

5. Where is Northern Cafe located and do you have parking? Northern Cafe is located at 1640 E. Kent Avenue South in Vancouver, BC. There is parking along the street on Kent Avenue for our guests. Check out our Google Business Profile for directions. Although we are tucked above a lumber yard, we get a lot of visitors and have become a popular spot.

6. Do you offer delivery and takeout? We do not offer delivery. But takeout is available and we accept phone orders – call us at +1-778-532-6240. Enjoy our menu in the comfort of your own home or anywhere!

7. Do you take reservations? We do not take reservations. Walk-ins only.  As Northern Cafe is very popular, it can get busy especially during peak brunch hours.  To make your visit as smooth as possible, the restaurant has a waitlist where you can drop in a leave your name and telephone number.  Once the table opens up, we will send you a text and we hope the guest can return within 5-8 mins.  The staff will do their best to make your experience enjoyable and any wait is made comfortable by the warm ambiance of the restaurant. 

8. Are walk-ins welcome?
Yes! We welcome walk-ins and do our best to seat guests promptly, especially during peak hours2.

9. Do you have a kids menu? Yes, we have items on our menu that are kid-friendly at Northern Cafe with dishes that are nutritious and delicious. From our fluffy pancakes to our burgers, our menu is designed to please even the pickiest eaters. Ask your server for recommendations.

10. What are the hours of Northern Cafe? Northern Cafe is open 6 days a week from Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 3 pm. We are closed on Sundays.
